Don’t turn your back on an abandoned or abused pet that needs your help to survive. If there is anything you can do then you should do it. And if all it takes in some cases to save an abandoned pet is to make a simple phone call then you should do it. It is the humane thing to do and you will feel like you have done absolutely the right thing when you learn that you gave a pet a second chance.
